Cross-platform api’s and tools for Duma ?

We are needed to find good api’s and tools for developing future Duma versions !

Restriction – api’s or tools must be cross-platform and free:

(clients must be on linux, mac and win)

Robust GUI client for remote administration ? (Imagine… One click for open remote admin at needed host from Deputate client) May be VNC ? But which flavor of VNC clients ?
Open source license API (or tool) for getting CPU temperatures ?
Open source license API (or tool) for analyzing network utilization ?

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for your help.
